17:06 Q&A Before we get started with student videos?

  • Q Is there any chance of having any of the horse expo segments recorded for us even if not facebook live then maybe recorded and posted?

18:27 Welcome Wendy Hallstrom & Justin

45:33 Q & A Wendy

  • Q Regarding Wendy`s set up if we let the horse think for themselves for example not saying closer or away shall we expect them to always go in by the orange barrel out by the white barrel etc.

47:36 Bye Wendy! Welcome Siska & Freki from Belgium

  • Tell us a little about Freki
  • Siska & Freki
  • 50:14 “head to belly button” is not comfortable to either of us. I find playing with Freki is always balancing between “stay with me” and “respect myspace”
  • 53:07 Freki arguing at the start of any session… I try just to ignore his trying to intimidate and keep asking the same thing until I get his attention. Playing is also always balancing between being consistent and not being boring… and sometimes being cautious for some more severe outbursts
  • 58:29 Game of two eyes – he has a hard time really keeping two eyes on me at the trot, I try to keep one eye interested… I think that at the walk we’re doing kind of fine, but I’m sure there is room for improvement there as well.
  • 59:29 Freki has a VERY hard time bending to the left, he will do pirouettes to avoid a left hand circle. Still I want to include some left-bend-training in the liberty sessions, as it is what we love best. I include an example on the video but it doesn’t seem to do much good to the bend. Would you have any suggestions there?

1:03:03 Q&A Siska

  • Q If you’re begining with liberty do you go with the horse first on the circle and then after they develop that you stay in the middle?
  • 1:03:50 Q Does the back up have an effect in the situation with the Icelandic’s?

1:05:34 Bye Siska! Welcome Lisa Baronni & Deuce from Ohio

  • Tell us a little about Deuce
  • Lisa & Deuce Roll: I`d like to have the most effective approach w the cookie after he rolls he’ll offer a sit position maybe use “wait” ”hold” to transition over
  • Lisa & Deuce Target
  • Lisa & Deuce Do You Know

1:32:48 Q&A Lisa

  • Q Any suggestions for alternatives to scanning and capturing for those of us without an arena and who`s horses are out 24/7 and can roll whenever they want
  • 1:37:28 Q Does a horse who rolls repedetly indicates some lack of relaxation or other behaviour?
  • 1:40:55 Q What would distinguishing different body parts targeting sound like?

1:43:50 Bye Lisa, Welcome Mary Hauser & Paris from Ohio

  • Tell us a little about Paris
  • Mary & Paris Spanish Walk

1:59:04 Q&A Mary

  • Q When teaching the Spanish walk would you teach the lift of the leg first or the straight leg extension first?
  • 1:59:55 Q With mini I have this problem, in teaching Spanish walk he constantly digs the ground and how can I fade that out?
  • 2:03:11 Q If I`m using the word foot to ask for her foot to pick her feet will it confuse her if I also ask for foot in this case?

2:05:23 Final Q & A

  • Q I`m curious about David thoughts about connveying visualsations from the human to the horse?
  • Q What word do you use for calm, quiet and look away?

2:15:14 End
